Man, I haven't even finished my profile but, yeah, I'd like to get that done and become active here. Though, if changes are coming, maybe I should keep back a moment, see what happens and go from there?

I would suggest holding off until the changes have been completed. There's no sense in writing a profile you may wish to change.
