Elise stopped eating completely, struck speechless for a moment as Lovino's admission sank in. He had felt that way about her for a long time, and she had not fully realized it...How did she feel about him?

"Lovino..." she said softly. Instinctively, she reached out and rested her hand over his. She hoped he wouldn't mind. "I wish I knew. Then you wouldn't have been hurting for so long."
