Elizabeta stepped carefully along the stone path, picking her way between the large boulders as she tried to not make a sound. Her brow was furrowed in concentration, counting the steps of her boots and keeping low. She was trailing after a young, rather richly dressed couple, with her eyes fixated on the pouch that the boy wore. The Hungarian was sure that she could pounce on them easily, and if she was quick about it she would be able to get away; she had to get back to the ship, after all. Arthur would be furious with her if she was caught.
Slinking behind a wall of the cliff, Elizabeta peeked carefully over the side to watch the two stop to admire the view as they spoke loudly, cheerfully. She shook her head with a small sigh, finding the nobility these days rather stupid. Didn’t they know that this was a popular hiding spot for pirates? Snorting, she turned to gauge the height of the stone walls for a moment to see if she could gain some ground – before she started forward without hesitation once she found a sure path, fitting the toes of her boots into the nooks and crannies.
She climbed up easily, her body holding the strength and agility that was required in her line of pirating and thieving. Elizabeta slipped over the edge and crawled nearer to the voices, a smirk curving up her lips as the couple came into her line of sight again. This would be far too easy, almost laughably so. The woman carefully slid her small knife out of its hiding place, aiming the sharp tip somewhere near the male’s face. Might as well get some amusement out of this.
[Hope this is okay!]
