In a flash, Francis was at Arthur's side again. Francis took Arthur's elbow and pulled the pirate against him. In the middle of the sidewalk, Francis cupped Arthur's face and kissed him.
"There," said Francis, a little breathily. His eyes were sparkling. "No resistance. In fact, I think you enjoyed it."
He hopped out of Arthur's reach and blew him a kiss. "If you want more, you'll have to catch me!"
His laughter rang out as he sprinted off.

He splutters as the kiss parts, watching the other dance and flee off. A multitude of emotions ran through him at this point, one of which was panic. The thought of being apart from Francis for long suddenly terrified him after the experience they had just had.
"H-Hey! Francis! Come... Come back!" He calls, giving chase to him. He growls. "Bastard! Get back here!"

"Catch me if you can!"
At first, Francis thought, as he laughed and skipped away, that Arthur's calls were out of feigned outrage. But it soon became clear that there was a note of panic in Arthur's voice.
Francis stopped and turned back to find Arthur. It was easy to find him; they nearly collided into each other.
Always to return to each other.
"Arthur?" he asked, concerned. "What's wrong?"

As soon as Francis stops he practically latches onto him again, gripping him lightly by the arms. He's slightly out of breath.
"D-Don't -- Don't run off like that." He pants, looking at him. He feels rather pathetic, now that he thinks about it. But he can't help blushing, and after a moment, he gently wraps his arms around the other.
".... don't leave."
He buries his head away, all over again.

With the firm, almost desperate grip on him, Francis suddenly understood. They couldn't suppress or forget what had happened to them tonight. They were still badly shaken, and despite Francis' efforts, Arthur still hadn't recovered.
"I won't," Francis said simply. He stroked Arthur's hair. "You know I won't."
Carefully, the lifted Arthur's face from his chest. "I think it's time we go home, love," he murmured.

Arthur gazes at him for a few moments, before giving a slow nod. There's a moments pause, before he reaches out and takes his hand, leading them away down the alley.
He wasn't going to let go of Francis for the rest of the night. Neither does he want to.
