But then again, perhaps he's hiding something else in them (being a pirate child and all). This boy is always wearing his hat. Much like another Turkish man, Girne has a strange double-curl that he keeps tucked up under his hat for none to see.

Life isn't always fun and games. A rule of which Girne tries to keep in mind in order to maintain a helpful watch on the ship's crew. He can be stern, mainly because he's so stubborn. A trait passed to him through his lovely father. Once he has set his mind on something it's a real challenge to change it. This has caused the boy to get into quite a few quarrels and tiffs.
Knowing when the hold his tongue, Girne normally keeps his snide thoughts to himself. Though when the time is right, he wont hold back, he isn't afraid to speak his mind. This guy doesn't have much of a temper, but if pushed passed his boiling point he will snap and would gladly jump into the feud. Normally he keeps quiet for his own good which makes him come off as a bit shy some may say, but don't let this fool you, he's always up for a good debate.
Being mature for his age is a plus. It stops people from treating him like a child most of the time. And sometimes this quality is even found respectable by his peers. But no one can be serious all of the time. That'd be too boring, so sometimes, Girne will let loose and be the childish person that most kids are. This only happens every once in a while. (A rare occasion, if I may).

° H-istory ||
~Would have been born into a fairly well-off noble family, but was instead raised under the not so sticked watch of a self-made pirate.
~Slightly spoiled by his father whom himself had been spoiled as a child.
~Girne spent much time playing on beaches and at boating docks which made him rather fond of turtles.
~Sitting upon the Gypsy airship he would read stories written about the myth of the legendary ship returning from the shadows, further his knowledge about ships and pirates, and he'd even try to find out what he can learn about ghost
~Seeing as he's still kinda young, there is still more history to make in his future

° R-oleplay example ||
Traveling in the hot, burning sun can be rather tiring. A young boy, the age of thirteen was exploring the area. His long baggy cloths protected his skin from the winds whirling past him. The hat on his head was pressed down to fit him snuggly so it would not fly away. He lifted his arm and blocked his eyes from the sand and dust being thrown at him by the twirling winds. Girne was quick to spot a large abandoned manor to take shelter in. Normally he'd be a bit more cautious about entering such a building, but as of right now all he cared about was getting out of this horrid storm. As he approached the gorgeous moss covered old building, the sand blew and covered up all of his left behind footprints. He sliped into the house through the front door closing it behind him. 'For an abandoned house this place sure looks amazing on the inside,' he thought as he looked around.
Girne took a second to pull his flask of water out, but upon opening it he noticed that it's completely empty. This was not good. "Red?" he asked himself when he saw a bowl out of the corner of his eye. He walked over to a small table in a conjoining room. On the table was a lovely silver bowl, clearly from a different land, filled with red, yellow, and even green apples. Being thirsty he grabbed a red apple and sunk his teeth into it. The juice, sweet as always, lined his lips. He grabbed another one and stuck it in his sash-pouch for later.
The sand storm, still raging outside, gave Girne this opportunity to explore the house. He moved on to the next room and surveyed the area. Everything was so exotic and foreign. Who ever used to live here must have loved to travel. Of all the brilliantly placed things, there was one item in particular that caught Girne's attention most. A pot. He wondered over to the beautiful clay creation and scanned over it with his eyes. This fascinating object looked familiar, alot like the vases he makes, himself, but slightly different. 'I've...I've seen this design before,' thought Girne as he stood there admiring the work of art.
